If you are involved with extending or converting a building or a new build, you may be responsible for the work until the contract has been completed. If your work, for example, burns down, you may be responsible for all of the costs of doing the work again. This can be covered by a Contractors All Risks insurance (sometimes referred to as "Contract Works insurance"). Additionally, you may own or hire in tools, plant and site huts, all which will require cover for loss and damage and this can be included within optional extensions to the policy. You may also require Public and Employer's Liability insurance - please click here for a quotation. If you are the owner of the building or are refurbishing for a customer, the building will still need to be insured by the owner. Click here for a buildings quote.
