Versatile Insurance Professionals Ltd (VIP) was formed after the management buy-out of the general insurance department of Anchorman Insurance Consultants Ltd, who were formed in 1998.

New clients of of ours are delighted to find a fast and friendly insurance specialist. Difficult to place insurance enquries or complex risks do naturally take longer but we will always estimate realistic response times and expectations.

Qualified management and staff
The Managing Director is Ray Colenutt (IRIB Dip CII MInstLM) and he has nearly 30 years experience in insurance broking and leads an experienced and knowledgeable team of staff.
Previous roles have included being the managing director of a leading personal lines insurance broker in Exeter, a branch manager and area trainer of a large national insurance broker plus, of course, general insurance manager at Anchorman.
Ray holds the CII Certificate of Proficiency, CII Certificate of Insurance Practice and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, the Faculty of Insurance Broking, the Institute of Insurance Brokers and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
All of our consultants are required to either have at least 5 years insurance experience or study for a qualification from The Chartered Insurance Institute before they are allowed to advise clients.
AADUKI MULTIMEDIA INSURANCE
In July 2001, Darryl Probert left a large national insurance broker to join Anchorman Insurance Consultants Ltd (one of the leading providers of professional indemnity insurance) to create their media insurances division.
Darryl has 17 years of insurance experience, 11 of which he had spent dealing exclusively with the photographic, video and wider media industry. Darryl and his team offers a professional, informed, expert and friendly service to all customers, old and new.
Innovative Web Site
In November 2005 Darryl purchased the fast growing division from Anchorman Insurance and merged it with Versatile. Just 2 years later, Aaduki is already recognised as one of the main providers of insurance to photographers and video makers. The innovative website at www.insurance4cameras.com provides instant quotations to professionals and amateurs for equipment, professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Darryl continues to be at the front line of the business to deal with customers and is keen to build Aaduki Multimedia Insurance into the leading media insurance provider by increasing the range of products offered and the number of suppliers used. He leads an expanding team of staff and has contacts throughout the media and insurance industries.
New products in the pipeline include policies for journalists, musicians and web designers.
